I will admit, it was hard for me to believe that this little thing would be powerful enough to not only wash the clothes, but DRY them?

se, I use a basin or bucket to fill the washer side up. U do not need much soap (liquid detergent) at all.
It is has a 15 min timer and has a dial to set to drain out the water. Make sure the machine is elevated a bit (gravity) so the dirty water can drain out; I use the tub for that. When I am using it I have it in my bathroom next to the tub and use an orange extension cord to plug it into the wall. It is small enough to fit in my utility closet until next use.
I think the most jaw dropping feature is the dryer!! It spins extremely fast and the clothes are almost complete dry. Just hang it on the banister, a chair, a hanger, on the line, where ever you dry clothes. It amazes me how wet and dripping the clothes can be (no need to wring out) and come out almost completely dry!!! Worth buying 10000 percent.
